THE BATTLE FOR THE DEAD ZONE BEGINS...

As survival gets harder the tensions between the groups formed in the Dead Zone begin to rise. Now, survivors will fight for the Fuel that remains by way of a sick game run by outsiders...

Every 2 weeks, a collection of Fuel is rewarded to the top ranking Alliances. The only way to earn points is to raid other survivor compounds and take their banner.

YOUR ALLIANCE BANNER

The Alliance Banner is the most important building in your compound during the Alliance Wars. Protect it or your Alliance will suffer the consequences.

When raiders come to take your banner, it will take them some time to loot it, so be sure to make them pay.

WAR POINTS

War Points are what sets each Alliance apart. They are earned by raiding the alliance banner of survivors in competing Alliances or by successfully defending your compound against survivors trying to take your banner.

The amount of points you will gain or lose varies. War Points are based on the difference in level between you and the enemy player, as well as the difference in rank between your Alliance and the enemy Alliance.

Losing an offensive raid (ie. Raiding a competing Alliance player) or unsuccessfully defending your compound against an Alliance enemy will result in your Alliance losing points.

Raiding or defending against a player in your own Alliance yields no gain or loss in War Points.

FUEL REWARDS

At the end of an Alliance War round, the Top 3 Ranking Alliances (by War Points) receive a Fuel Reward, which is split evenly between the Top 10 Ranking Players within those Alliances. Players are ranked internally within their Alliance by total War Points earned during the round.

WAR TARGETS

Enlisted members of your Alliance have the War Targets tab available to them. This list displays a collection of Alliances with a ranking close to your Alliance's ranking, from which you can launch raids against them.

This provides a simple way to find worthy War Opponents to help futher your Alliance's standing.

WAR TASKS

Each member within the Alliance that is able to contribute War Points to the current round can contribute to War Tasks.

Cooperating and completing tasks as an Alliance earns Tokens for the Alliance, which can be spent on War Boosts.

The number of Tokens earned for the alliance by completing a task is proportional to the number of members that can contribute War Points to the current round.

Some tasks will require a manual contribution from Alliance members, such as donating resource stocks (for example, Food, Wood or Ammo). Other tasks, such as killing Infected or collecting items, will added to the totals as you complete missions.

WAR BOOSTS

War Boosts give all members beneficial effects for the rest of the round, unless they are still Enlisting.

If your Alliance buys all four of the War Boosts in the current round, you will gain the Bonus Boost, which provides even more benefits to the entire Alliance.

The price of boosts changes based on:
1. How many full members you have in your Alliance
2. How much time is left in the round.

As the end of the round draws closer, the cost of War Boosts will reduce. However, their effects only last until the end of the round.

Remember, members who are still Enlisting don't get the benefits of boosts!

NEW TO ALLIANCES?

Alliances allow groups of like-minded players to band together and battle it out in the Dead Zone for Fuel Rewards. Alliances earn War Points through raiding and defending against enemy Alliances.

JOINING AN ALLIANCE

To join an existing Alliance, you need to be invited via the in-game Communications system. Once invited, accept the invitation and you will become a member of the Alliance. If a War Round is currently in progress, you'll be placed into Enlisting mode.

As a new member in Enlisting mode, you won't be able to contribute to the current War Round. This means you won't be able to contribute or donate to War Tasks, or earn War Points for you Alliance until the next War Round begins.

CREATING AN ALLIANCE

As a veteran Survivor, you may want to start your own Alliance. If you're not already in an Alliance, you can create your own Alliance by visiting the Create page within theAlliances Window. A fee of 100 Fuel is required to start a new Alliance.

As the Founder of your Alliance, you control every aspect of your Alliance, from the design of your Alliance banner, who you invite and their ranks within the Alliance to how Alliance Tokens are spent.

If your Alliance is created during a War Round, you will be placed into Enlisting mode and your Alliance will not able to rank during the round. You must wait for a new War Round to being before your Alliance can gain a ranking.
